Each year, since 2006, the European Patent Office (EPO) recognizes outstanding inventors in the five categories of Industry, Non‑European Patent Organization Countries, Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Research and Lifetime Achievement. Awards in each of the five categories, plus an award for Young inventors (<30 years of age), and a Popular Prize will be announced on July 4th, 2023, at 12:00 Central European Summer Time (CEST), during an Awards Ceremony streamlined from Valencia, Spain.
