Yes, Nov 8, 2016 is indeed a historic polling day, with the first women ever to win the Democratic party nomination, and now one of five contenders for the United States Presidential Office.
Everyone is probably waiting to exhale... And noone wants to use the word historic... quite yet! But, no matter the outcome, it will always be a historic day for women. Just as it was a historic day in 1872, when Victoria Woodhull ran for President of the United States as leader of the Equal Rights Party. Only, that was before even the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution was voted to grant women the right to vote, on August 18, 1920.Best of luck Madame Rodham Clinton! 👠
