“Charlie Hebdo’s new location under construction with ocean view”
[Translation mine]
Just as a reminder, on Jan 7, 2015, the Charlie Hebdo headquarters in Paris were targeted by two terrorists, who slaughtered a dozen people at gunpoint, including 7 of France’s best-selling and most beloved cartoonists and editorialists, gathered for a weekly Wednesday morning staff meeting, .
In France, two weeks later, 4 million people rose to condemn the attack, in the biggest march ever recorded, defiantly upholding: “I am Charlie” banners, which went viral world-wide.
On March 7, 2015, two months after the attack, Charlie Hebdo is alive and healing, courageously producing humor as ever, education, satire and insightful political opinions. Not a single issue was ever missed. Long Live Charlie Hebdo!
